"Having admired the magnificent Nally products, that were so kindly offered to me, I would like to think of them in the hands of every Portuguese ladies.
Queen Amélia
In the very noble words of the august lady:
'If in Portugal perfumery products such as Nally are made, it is necessary that all Portuguese ladies wear them. I have set off the example, as far as the Portuguese national industry goes, for while I lived at the court in Portugal, I set for myself as a rule to always use national products.'
Nally perfumery and beauty products have won unique references from queens, princesses and aristocrats from all over the world!
Never before have any other products attained the public appreciation of ladies of such elevated rank and refined elegance, and that in itself places the Nally brand above any other, no matter how high or justified its fame."

Haynes Special Speedster, 1921
Scanned from Taschen's "All-American Ads of the 20s". Click image for 678 x 875 size.
"Beauty - Strength - Power - Comfort
Haynes Character Cars
To dash to the beach or golf links in the Haynes Special Speedster; to sit behind its wheel on the road to the houseparty or country club function; to feel its exuberant power in the drive to fill a business engagement - these are experiences which create the mood for full enjoyment and confident accomplishment at the destination. This year finds the Haynes Special Speedster still more a car of virile character; the pleasure or business companion for the man or woman who loves life and action.
With its rakish windshield and wind deflectors; individual fenders and steps; additional wire wheels which flank the hood; cord tires; sloped seat cushions, and finger-touch starting lever which animates the Haynes built six or twelve cylinder motor, the Haynes Special Speedster stands incomparable among two-passenger open cars.
The brilliant beauty of its Speedster Red Color accentuates the body's graceful sweep from the dominating hood to the tip of the rear carrying compartment. Too few of these Speedsters will be built to reduce their exclusiveness. An early reservation its recommended.
1893 - The Haynes is America's first car - 1921"

Wesson Oil, 1960s
"Wesson Oil takes the smoke out of frying!
Make this test yourself (both dials set on 375º)
Solid shortenings smoke because they contain an emulsifier. This 'additive' is good for baking, but smokes in frying. Wesson Oil does not smoke because there's nothing added to it. You know by the light clear color, it is all pure vegetable oil.
Smoke's out, flavor's in these glorious fritters. Delicate Wesson Oil fries them ever so lightly without greasy taste or clinging odor, never adds taste of its own. So you get all the natural flavor of the sweet corn ticked in the crisps, golden batter. Wesson Oil is your freshest pure vegetable oil for good nutrition - and costs so little, too.
New! Pancake Corn Fritters
Blend together 1 egg. 1/4 cup milk
Stir in 1 cup pancake mix
1 can (12 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained
Fluffy fritters need a light hand so don't overbeat. Drop by teaspoonfuls into hot Wesson Oil (1 inch deep) and cook slowly until golden brown, about 4 minutes. 10 to 24 fritters.
Serve hot with lots of Cabin Syrup."

"See the name Gordon in red on the back of every label
Used on bottles sold in the United States East of the Rocky Mountains
There is doubtless a reason why there are eighty imitations of Gordon London Dry Gin on the market, why lables are forged and bottle refilled.
There are more frauds committed in the name of "Gordon" than in any one article sold in the United States.
Buy it of reputable dealers and see that "Gordon" is furnished when ordered. The month of production is perforated on every label."
